SATURDAY PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP:
12:00pm – 3:00 p.m.
Location: Trek Bicycle at 2108 Blanding Blvd in Jacksonville, Florida.
We will also have a packet pickup on Saturday evening from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the race site at Camp Blanding (Avenue A), Starke, FL. (If you have a military ID for access or if you are staying on-site)
You MUST HAVE your photo ID and USAT Membership card (if you have an annual membership).
6:00 to 7:00 a.m.
Packet pick-up is open from 6:00am to 7:15am. You must pick up your packet before entering the transition area.
Transition area will open at 6:00am and close promptly at 7:15am. Please refrain from arriving on post before 5:30 AM.
Parking will be in a designated area on AVENUE A just north of the transition area. The parking area will be in easy walking distance to transition. Do not park on the side of the roadways, park only in the designated area. Follow the directions of our volunteers.
Body-marking will be at the entrance to the transition area. You must have your race number to be body-marked, and you must be body-marked to enter transition.
7:15 a.m.
Transition area closes so athletes can make their way to the swim start area. No athletes will be allowed in the transition area during this time.
7:30 a.m
Race starts with swim wave times to be posted here as soon as they are finalized.
Post-race
There will be post-race food and beverages at the race site.
10:00 a.m.
Awards ceremony for the sprint distance event. (Approx)
11:00 a.m.
Awards ceremony for the Olympic distance events. (Approx)
Things to Remember
- If you need assistance during the swim, wave your hand in the air. Lifeguards will be watching you.
- If you drop out of the swim, you MUST immediately notify the Swim Marshall. There will be volunteers to collect your chip. You may continue the event, but you will not record a time.
- You must walk out of the transition area to mount your bike.
- Watch for cars on the bike course. We do everything possible to ensure your safety but we cannot control everyone. The course is still considered open to vehicles. Pay attention.
- SAFETY WARNING: There is one area on the bike course that has lime rock on the road. This area will be marked with safety cones.
- You must dismount your bike prior to re-entering the transition area.
